How was everyone's Thanksgiving? I hope it was wonderful and one that you'll remember. Mine was perfect! Family, food, games, laughter, and a warm fireplace. We even did a scavenger hunt with the kids. I had them searching all over the house! At the end, they found some new games that we played around the dinner table while eating pies and cookies.
This morning was just as nice. We woke up and lit the fireplace again and watched a movie in our pajamas while having leftovers for breakfast. After the movie, we decorated the Christmas tree and hung lights around the house, then hit the stores for a little Christmas shopping.
I was also able to squeeze in a little crafting around mid-morning today. Since we decorated the tree, I thought it would be perfect to decorate a little tree for a Christmas card!
I embossed little polka-dots onto cardstock and added a fun snowflake patterned paper tied with a white satin bow.
This Christmas tree is a free digital download you can get here from Sueli Colber Designs. I printed mine out to size, cut it and added various buttons and a little mica flakes for some sparkle!
Last, I cut out a vellum Merry Christmas sentiment from Anna Griffin. I just love the sentiments that came in the package - they are the perfect size for holiday cards!
Now, it's time for some leftover pecan pie! Hee hee!
