Delightful Dahlias - Papercraft Star Challenge 46

5.18.2011

Today opens a new challenge at Papercraft Star! And this is my perfect opportunity to break in my new (older) stamp set from Papertrey Ink - Delightful Dahlia.

I chose the blue gingham paper, Birds of a Feather by The Girl's Paperie and stamped the background using Tin Types. I love the combination of the two different patterned together. It has a country-home kind of style that I find refreshing.

Now although we are playing along with a sketch layout this week at Papercraft Star, I decided that focusing on the circles from the sketch would work to create this card. I'm more of a card kind of girl. Although I love a good mini album too. I guess it's scrapping on a smaller scale that really draws me.

So, whether you're a card maker or layout scrapper, this sketch challenge will fit anyone's style! Here are the details for you to join us at Papercraft Star.
