Color Me Orange

3.12.2012

Each year Pantone, the leading color enthusiasts of the design industry, selects the coveted color of the year. For 2012, the lucky winner is Tangerine Tango...better known around Clear and Simple Stamps as Orange You Fabulous!

For this month's group project, the CSS Design Team is featuring the color for 2012. Here is what I came up with for the challenge...

I used two shades of orange to create this quick and easy card featuring Orange You Fabulous and Creamsicle Cardigan cardstock from Clear and Simple Stamps and a few pieces of scrap patterned papers.

But my favorite part is the felt flower! Created with a new die cut from CSS called, Build-A-Flower! Notice the leaf detail? There is a pleated pattern, which I just love! This die cut is a definite one to use again and again.

For more orange inspiration and a peek at the newest collection from Clear and Simple Stamps, be sure to stop by the rest of the Design Team blogs...
