Summer Party Hop | Clear and Simple Stamps

8.10.2012

Welcome to a Clear and Simple Stamps party hop! Each designer has been asked to create a fun party ensemble using any of the new Collection 4 products paired with the new Party Elements: Celebration set. So be sure to hop to each of the designer blogs at the end of this post to see all the fun party ideas to be shared.

Before I get started on my project, I first want to mention that my sweet daughter has staged and taken all the photos you see in this blog post. She spent a lot of time choosing the props and designing the layout of each photo trying to get everything juuuuust right. I wanted to thank her for her creative "eye" and a love for the camera. I think she did an amazing job!

While summer is still here and the weather has been hot and perfect, I created a fun summer pool party ensemble complete with invitations, coordinating envelopes, party favors, and even little straws for drinks at the party!

The invitations were created with the new Party Elements: Celebration set now available in the CSS shop. My favorite part about this set is the new "grid style" invitation layouts available for both horizontal and vertical layouts. It makes mass producing so simple because you don't have to line anything up....just stamp once and move on to the next!

To decorate each piece, I also used the beach ball from one of my favorite sets - Beach Bum and some fun washi tapes to embellish the matching envelope.

These party favors were created by folding small glassine bags and topping them off with the Toppers Dies Combos and stamping with the chevron pattern from Toppers Fillers

For a fun way to dress up those drinks for a hot summer pool party, I decorated some paper straws by die cutting a banner from Favor Flags Dies and stamping them with the Favor Flags Fillers. Have you seen all the different uses that the design team has been sharing with these favor flag dies? There are some seriously creative uses going on. I hope you'll check them all out!

Now hop on over to see what the rest of the design team has created for our party hop to celebrate the new Party Favors: Celebration set and the CSS Collection 4...
