Waltzingmouse Sneak Peek | Folk Art Medallion

3.07.2013

Welcome to the third day of previews for the new stamp sets arriving at Waltzingmouse this Friday, March 8! If you've missed the last two days of previews, be sure to check out Claire's blog for all the details. She is having a fun contest too - "Pin It to Win It." Now I know you don't want to miss that!

Today, the designers have created samples using another amazing stamp set and my favorite from this release (although it was a tough decision). Packed full of endless possibilities using a layered stamping technique, you're sure to love what this new set has to offer.

Introducing...Folk Art Medallion!

For my first project, I kept the focus on the large medallion, stamping a gradient style for the greenery. Adding in the small details is so easy because spaces are left open to layer the next stamp directly over the first. It makes it so friendly to choose a color palette in a variety of colors without having to do any "masking techniques."

I had a little help from my Cameo to cut the circle-shaped card and banner.

For my next sample, I used the stamps from Folk Art Medallion to create a background pattern. Talk about an easy stamp set to work with...just start with the larger square frame and work your way in by stamping the rest of the layers.

I also used the Folk Art Labels No. 25 set that was previewed yesterday. I can already tell I will be using that stamp set again and again. Wouldn't you?

Thanks for stopping by today to see my Folk Art Medallion projects. Be sure to visit Claire's blog to see the full reveal of the new stamp sets available on Friday and for all the latest updates. In the meantime, be sure to see the amazing projects from the design team.
