Waltzingmouse Release Day Blog Waltz

5.29.2013

Welcome to the Waltzingmouse Release Day Blog Waltz! Today is the day that two new stamp sets are available in the shop. As a recap, Claire is introducing Country Labels 4 and USA 1776.

To celebrate the new release, the design team is hosting a blog waltz party. For those who want to play along, just hop (or "waltz") to each of the design team blogs and leave a comment. A randomly selected comment will be eligible to win a stamp set of their choice from Waltzingmouse!

If you've been following along the blog waltz, you should have arrived here from Karin's blog. If not, you may start the waltz at the Waltzingmouse blog so you don't miss a thing.

For my card today, I am featuring the new Country Labels 4 stamp set. This set is a follow up to the Very Vintage Labels 4 stamp set that coordinates with the Spellbinders Labels 4 dies.

I've created a background using the cherries from this stamp set, then piled on the layers with trim, twine, and a die cut label.

To create the quilt-like label, first stamp your label onto a die cut piece of cardstock. Then on a separate piece of cardstock, stamp each of the four sections using different colored ink. Cut each section out and adhere onto the die cut label.

Don't you just love the different patterns in each section?

Of course, I couldn't resist munching on some fresh, seasonal cherries as I was creating this card. I just love summer time fruit.

Well, you've made it through the blog waltz! Yes, I am the last designer on the list.

Don't forget to leave a comment to be eligible to win a stamp set of your choice. If for some reason blogger starts to act up when leaving a comment, you can send me an email by clicking here to be eligible.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you've enjoyed the previews along the blog waltz today!

P.S. Google Reader will end on July 1. Continue to follow my blog on Bloglovin to stay updated!
